The rooms from the 2nd to the 3rd floor at Hotel Opera Maintenon are all about high ceilings and elegant tall windows. These rooms are an inspi-ration for the potential of space given the right approach. On the topfloor the ceiling is lower but the rooms just as beautiful.
All of the rooms are delightfully decorated in a style inspired by Louis XIV that Mme de Maintenon, the famous owner from the 17th century, married in secret and so became the furtive Queen of France. Magnificent curtains, assorted bedspreads and carpets in strong and powerful colours makes Hotel Opera Maintenon a mighty individual although classic hotel in Paris.
